Reward the habit you want, not the one you've already got.
- Your stamp card mainly rewards your best regulars.
- New players have one great game and never return.
- Weekday daytime courts sit empty.
- Nobody can say if the scheme made any difference.
- Rewards aimed at new players, quiet hours and returners.
- Sent on WhatsApp from your number. No app to install.
- Triggered by real bookings, not a list someone keeps.
- Every reward tied to the bookings it brought in.
What a padel loyalty program should reward
A padel loyalty program should reward behaviour you can't get otherwise: a new player's third and fourth game, bookings in quiet hours, bringing a new player into the club, and coming back after a gap. Skip points on peak bookings, which only discount courts that sell themselves. Run it on WhatsApp from your club's number, triggered by booking data, so players don't need another app. Then judge it on repeat bookings and quiet-hour fill, not sign-ups.
Who your loyalty card actually rewards
The players who finish a ten-game card are the ones who'd have played ten games anyway. You're paying them to do what they already do, usually in your busiest slots.
The players you lose had two or three games, enjoyed it, and drifted off. A card that pays out on game ten never reaches them.

Reward these five things instead
| Reward | Why it works | Example |
|---|---|---|
| A new player's third game | This is where players stick or vanish | Free coached session on booking three |
| Quiet-hour bookings | An empty hour can't be sold later | Better rate on weekday daytime |
| Bringing a new player | Every game needs four | Credit for both when the new one books |
| Coming back after a gap | Cheaper than finding someone new | Personal message plus one quiet-hour offer |
| Trying something new | Coaching and leagues lift spend | First league entry at member price |
Skip the app
Your players already have a booking app and already message you on WhatsApp. Asking them to download a third thing for a stamp card is where most schemes die.
Let the booking data decide who qualifies and send the reward on WhatsApp. 'You've played three times this month, here's a free coached session' lands far better than a card in a wallet nobody opens. Pulse builds these lists automatically and keeps them up to date as players book.
A program you could launch next month
- Welcome: when a new player books their second game, thank them and offer a third in a quiet slot.
- Bring a friend: credit both players when someone new books with an existing player.
- Quiet hours: a better rate for regulars on your two or three emptiest weekday slots.
- Come back: when a regular drops well below their normal, a personal check-in and one reason to return.
- Every month: check repeat bookings, quiet-hour fill and what each reward cost.

We'll show you on our demo club how Pulse picks out new players, quiet-hour regulars and returners, and what each one gets on WhatsApp.

At Vida Del Padel, one win-back message with a 10% code brought back £5,368 in bookings for £98 of WhatsApp spend. One campaign, one club. Use it as proof the approach works, not a forecast.
Important: Recovered revenue isn't profit. Take off the discount, message costs and any courts you'd have sold anyway.
Frequently asked questions
What is a padel loyalty program?
Rewards that keep players booking at your club. The best ones reward a new player's early games, quiet-hour bookings, referrals and coming back after a gap, rather than points on every booking.
Should a padel club use a loyalty card app?
It can, but every extra app loses players. If you already have booking data and message players on WhatsApp, you can run rewards there with nothing to download.
What rewards work best for padel players?
Anything that gets them on court more: coached sessions, free racket hire, quiet-hour rates, credit for bringing a new player and first league entries. Discounts on peak slots usually cost more than they bring in.
